PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To assist the University Secretary in the general administration of the University and ensuring
efficient and effective management of the University Council and its Committees.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
a) Bachelor’s degree in either Business Management, Public Administration, Education
Management, Economics, or Human Resource Management.
b) A Master’s degree in either Business Management, Public Administration, Education
Management, Economics, or Human Resource Management.
c) A certificate in Administrative Law is a must.
Experience:
At least six (6) years’ experience of which three (3) should have been at senior level in
administration in a reputable institution.
Competences:
a) Should have leadership, communication, public relations, negotiation, and interpersonal
skills.
b) Demonstrated computer literacy skills.
c) Proven record of high integrity and level of ethical standards.
d) A certificate in Administrative Law is an added advantage.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To head the internal and risk audit function and manage quality assurance in systems of internal
financial controls, risk management, corporate governance and fiscal compliance.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
a) Should have a Master’s degree in finance and accounting.
b) Should have a full professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CIMA.
c) Should be a Member of a recognized professional audit body like the Institute of Internal
Auditors, Uganda (IIA) or equivalent.
Experience:
Should have ten (10) years of working experience in financial management, three (3) of which
should have been in audit management gained from a reputable institution.

  • Driving experience of at least 5 years.
