A yet-to-be-identified thug, armed with a panga, has been killed by locals in Bongole Zone in Katwe after he forcibly entered the residence of Ayebare Anita, a 25-year-old resident of the same area, and demanded money. The incident occurred this morning around 10:30 am.

Reportedly, the assailant entered the house while the woman was having breakfast with her children and demanded a sum of Shs5 million.

When the woman resisted, he turned his aggression towards her four children: Atuhaire Lucia (2 yrs), Ampaire Maria Zoe (5 yrs), Musiime Blair (7 yrs), and Ankunda Godius (14 yrs).

The commotion attracted the attention of locals who also alerted the police. The assailant was subdued and subsequently died shortly afterward.
